From July 12th until July 20th, the Hy-Vee store on 135th in Overland Park hosted a donation drive for Animal Haven in conjunction with the store’s Million Stem Rose Sale. The donation drive was a great success, collecting many in-kind donations necessary to the shelter and raising more than $1,000 to help the homeless pets at Animal Haven. Animal Haven had a great time with Melinda Ryder and the rest of the Hamburger Mary’s crew at our charity bingo night last night! BIG thanks to everyone who came out to support our mission and help the homeless pets in our shelter. The night was a huge success and we hope we can do it again in the future! Animal Haven had a wonderful time at our Paw-ty in July last Saturday and we hope you did too! Thanks to everyone who came out despite the sweltering heat. Jensi is a super, young dog! He is friendly, playful, energetic, and lots of fun. He loves people and is always ready to make a new friend (and deliver lots of kisses!). Still a youngster, he will do great in obedience classes. Happy go-lucky Jensi would love to meet you and wiggle his way into your heart!

Gentry is a little man in a dog’s body. His ideal home would include a big screen for football games, plenty of frosty beverages and nachos!!! While nachos are his favorite, he would really like any form of appetizer. He is ready to help you cheer on the Chiefs! Wise beyond his years, he’s mastered sit and stay. Stay is definitely his favorite. Come and meet this charming, comical gentleman.
